I just witnessed a 9 year old have a meltdown. She was so happy five minutes earlier when she pulled a tooth out. But when it’s homework time and she realized she forgot it at school.. AAAAAAHHHHH!! By the time it was all over she asked if she could take a bath and relax.
PS Before the bath there was a discussion about what her responsibilities were.
