Mr. Shoe

A long time ago I started making up stories to tell Lil Shoe before bed. It has morphed into a brother/sister duo that gets into adventures. There are evil scientists, savage natives, submarines and of course a cliffhanger at the end.

She has bugged me to write these stories down. I think that I might have to start listening to her. Especially when I have thought back over the last few months; she has had a new story every night she stays with me for the last 3 months.

The latest story I titled “The Mystery of the Mayan Calendar.”

The groans when I say “to be continued” lets me know that the story I am telling is good.

Suck it Rachel Ray! I whipped this up for Lil Shoe in 20 minutes. Pre Brownies dinners are usually not this fancy, I was in the zone tonight.

Lil Shoe found her invisible ink pen. She handed me a piece of paper and the special light to read messages when we left this morning. Got back to my desk and just read it.

Lil Shoe wrote this on my hand. I wanted to write “Hit Girl” on her hand. She’s too young for Kick Ass, but the two of us would wreck some shit.
